World of Outlaws Leader Reimers, 66-time Winner Dollansky Headline Hall of Fame Class – World of Outlaws

The prestigious World of Outlaws (WoO) have announced the latest additions to their esteemed Hall of Fame, with two notable inductees, including leader Reimers and 66-time winner Dollansky. This year’s ceremony saw a gathering of 28 combined teams, each receiving point fund checks and contingencies, as well as a focus on the series’ strong infrastructure and family atmosphere.

Awards Banquet

The 58th annual Interstate Racing Association (IRA) Awards Banquet was held at the Parkway Chateau, honoring Bumper To Bumper IRA Outlaw Sprint Series Champion Scotty Thiel and AutoMeter Wisconsin wingLESS Sprint Series powered by Gandrud Champion Zach Raidart. Loren Kelly and Madeline Schultz emceed the gala, with long-time IRA President Steve Sinclair joining in to present numerous special awards.

Champions Honored

Thiel won his first series Bumper To Bumper IRA Outlaw Sprint Series championship, having been runner-up on four occasions. This year, the tables were turned as Thiel topped Jake Blackhurst in a season-long dual, securing the championship with a win at the Plymouth Dirt Track. Zach Raidart, piloting his family’s #23z, claimed his first AutoMeter Wisconsin wingLESS powered by Gandrud Sprint Series championship, with a consistent run down the stretch and a win at the Hill Raceway.

Rookie of the Year

Tylar Rankin aboard Greg Wheeler’s #16c finished 6th in IRA Outlaw Sprint points and claimed the Sage Fruit / Hepfner Race Products Big Apple Rookie of the Year Award, topping high schooler Logan Julien, 8th in points, who received the Sage Fruit / HRP Apple Cup rookie honors. Julien had a big night at his inaugural IRA banquet, winning a new Maxim chassis.

Award Winners

Spitz Family Racing (Kris Spitz) and IRA Safety Team Member Andy Shufflebotham shared the annual Rick Schmidt Memorial IRA Member of the Year honors for their professionalism and dedication to the series. Rick Lemanski, a driver, owner, and crew chief, received the 1st annual IRA Lifetime Achievement Award presented by Dave Olson. Austin Hartmann (410), Tyler Kuxhouse, Trinity Uttech, and Austin Hansen (wingLESS) were named Most Improved Driver. Danny Schlafer (410) and Austin Hansen (wingLESS) respectively received Best Appearing Car Awards.
