If you can’t afford to go to one of these big ones out in Richmond and Charlotte or wherever, I mean, this is the perfect, perfect idea…” Jones enthusiastically shared.
N. B. Heywood, another newcomer, drove three hours to showcase his independent book and tabletop game business, Vaporous Realms Publishing. Despite the long journey, Heywood was thrilled with the experience. “It’s what I’d hoped. It’s everybody, you know, lots of folks dressing up, it’s a lot busier than some larger conventions and things that I visited and attended at, so it’s just good to see everybody enthusiastic, and the other vendors are real nice, and, yeah, it’s a good time,” he said.
