Post date:

Animal Crossing: New Horizons is Nintendo’s latest gift to the gamers. It is the fifth main title in the Animal Crossing series released on March 20, 2020.

This installment has received extremely positive reviews too.

In this real-time simulation game, the player adopts the role of a self customizable character and starts his journey in a deserted island after purchasing a vacation package from Tom Nook, an essential part of the game. Since the game’s focus is on making a community of anthropomorphic animals, some animals are hard to find and are rewardful too. One such creature is the Oarfish. It is a precious fish that can be found on players’ islands this time of year.

Here we provide help for finding the Oarfish. Read on

You must be wondering why catching this fish is important. It is because of 2 reasons

  1. They fetch a whopping 9000 bells.
  2. They are only available at a specific time of the year.

It may not be easy to find this regularly as these are pretty rare, but they can be available at any time of the day during these months. For Northern Hemisphere, the months are from December to May, while the other part of the year belongs to the southern hemisphere.

One prerequisite that may boost your chances of catching an oarfish is having a FISHBAIT as it makes more fish spawn look for Manila Clams to craft this tool. Now to find it, look for the most strong shadow in the sea as oarfish are huge, but remember not every large shadow will result in you catching an oarfish, as they can be seabass too, which are very common. With a little patience, you can easily spot it.  Other valuable fish include  Blue Marlin, Barred Knifejaw, etc.

I hope this helps.
