Oh no! “The light for Dying Light 2 now seems to be dimming” –
Dying Light 2 was at first assumed to be released in the Spring of 2020; developer Techland has sadly confirmed that the game is being delayed until an untold time. This was recently revealed in a statement which they made on Twitter.
Dying Light follows agent Kyle Crane who is sent to break in a quarantine area in the city of Harran. Quarantine Zone is filled with man-eating zombies out for food. Gameplay depends on weapon-based combat, and the game has been receiving good feedback from fans and critics.
The developer of Dying Light – Techland, earlier released a few minutes of gameplay for Dying Light 2 with a game trailer. He thinks that they need more time to make the game.
They said, “We extremely apologize for this undesirable news that has been announced. Our priority is to provide a thriller experience that lives up to high standards and the expectations of you, our fans.”
They also said they would have more information to share about the game in the coming months, and they will release more details as soon as they can.
Let’s see the tweet that is holding an image of the letter about the Dying Light 2 release date:
There are delays for popular games too that never welcomed by the community, even if it has no worth that various anticipated games have also been delayed as of late, including two games from Square Enix, the Final Fantasy 7 Remake, and The Avengers RPG.
Even the CD Projekt RED’s Cyberpunk 2077 has also been delayed until the end of 2020. Dying Light 2 had to be added to this list is a cold-hearted mystery, but it seems that the problem is not restricted to only Techland.
The only wish now is that we should all hope, these video game delays do not continue to increase in number; otherwise, 2020 will be going as an uninteresting year for video games.
