A glitch in Grand Theft Auto (GTA) Online is allowing the players to duplicate rare cars when they follow a series of steps, which includes trapping and murdering (in-game) sex workers.
Earlier this year, players discovered a new way of duplicating new cars by using sex workers for a glitch. First, players pick up a sex worker at night in the car and then wedge the vehicle between a Mobile Operations Center (MOC) and a third car. The main goal of this process is to make it impossible for the sex worker to move out of the vehicle.
Afterward, players go into a garage, sit inside the car for their choice to clone, and then drive it towards the triangle of vehicles they set up. The Player has to abandon the car and shoot the bonnet of the car before it catches fire with the sex worker inside. Then players eventually shoot the sex worker, store stash their truck into the Mobile Operations Center (MOC), and then drive back out.
If done correctly, the players can duplicate their equipped car with another same type of vehicle that would appear in the original garage. ITZ Bubbas has uploaded a video of this action, but later on, it was removed due to some copyright claim.
In early March, some players reported the same Glitch with Rockstar. Several players found a way around this Glitch by merely setting the car on fire instead, “so that they can use the glitch while she’s dying.” After that, the vehicle and the sex worker will disappear, and then the player has to go inside the MOC to duplicate the car.
According to data miner Tez2, Rockstar’s fix for the Glitch is to simply kill the sex worker to prevent the Glitch from triggering, because, for some reason, it requires the sex worker to be alive.
