Recently, G.S.C. Game World has shared the first screenshot of its STALKER 2. With people all around the globe struggling to outlast the coronavirus outbreak, developers at G.S.C. Game World thinks it’s the best shot to release the first official screenshot from S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2.
Official twitter handle of STALKER has shared the screenshot representing a forest-like area with some rusty, useless cars in the middle. The most exciting and attractive part of the shot is a mysterious magical wormhole in the air. We already know there will be some mutated monsters in the world of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2.

Another tweet from G.S.C. Game World said, “A lot of you are joining social isolation now. That’s why today, on an extraordinary occasion, we are ready to uncover the mystery of what we are working on slightly. This is the first glimpse of STALKER 2.”The tweet also included more to come in 2020.
The original STALKER was released on March 20, 2007, meaning it has been almost exactly 13 years since it was released.
From 2018, this is the first time we finally get to have a look at the game
. This would possibly be a next-gen title as it’s scheduled to launch 2021. The game is inspired by the first trilogy of the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series. And is being developed by a Russian team with a particular focus on its creepy atmosphere.
The game is under development for nearly two years, yet the available information on S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 is very little, mainly when it comes to its story. The last time we got new details was back in 2019 when they arrived on an interview with a Russian YouTube channel Антишнапс, revealing that S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 won’t be featuring any Battle Royale modes in the multiplayer section.
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 is estimated to be released sometime in 2021. Platforms that are yet to be revealed.
