Eddie Murphy Scores First Emmy Win For 2019 SNL Appearance!!

Eddie murphy finally wins the first Emmy! Murphy says below: “Thank you everyone at the Emmys. Thank you so much, thank you so much for giving me an Emmy. I don’t have an Emmy. It’s been a long time since I started Saturday Night Live, this is my first Emmy so thank you so much. I need to express my gratitude to Lorne Michaels for putting this all together and getting this going. Also, I must thank the cast, essayists, and crew at SNL. It is extremely rare for me to come back and for the show to go the way it did. In fact, I’m walking away from him. Also, thank you all for giving me an Emmy. ”



Last December, Murphy appeared on SNL in 35 years. He was submitted by NBC’s late-night sketch arrangement as a young man standing in the star of The Nutty Professor’s blockbuster, and Beverly Hills Cop and Oscar appointed as the supporting animator for Dreamgirls.

For his work on “SNL” in 1983, Entertainment Weekly revealed, Murphy earned his first Emmy designation in 1983 for the best-supporting actor in a parody.

Saturday’s Emmy win was the first in 1983 after an assignment in a similar ranking, two from 1984, one for composing on SNL and one for singular achievement, and one for the invigorated arrangement of The PJs in 1999.
