One of the most popular action film franchise is coming back next year. Fast and Furious 9 or F9, a racing film franchise, directed by Justin Lin and written by Daniel Casey is the ninth movie in the series.
Earlier, Fast and Furious 9 was supposed to release in May 2020 but due to the global pandemic COVID19 crisis, this was delayed nearly for one year. But due to high demand by the fans, Universal Pictures has announced the new date. The release date was confirmed on April 2, 2021. Regarding the next sequel, its releasing date has also been pushed one more year. This means the release of the tenth movie of this franchise will be likely in 2022.
The stars Vin Diesel as Dominic and John Cena as Jacob are the main characters. Apart from this, the fan-favorite character Han Lue (San Kang) is back. Seeing Han as alive in the trailer, fans were shocked and surprised. Michelle Rodrigue as Letty, Tyrese Gibson as Roman Pearce, Jordana Brewster as Mia Toretto, and Chris Ludacris as Tej Parker is the casting characters in this movie.
The storyline of Fast and Furious 9 has not been revealed yet. But, from the trailer, it can be easily observed that Dominic (Vin Diesel) is a family man. He is happy with his wife Letty Oritz(Michelle Rodrigue) and enjoying life with their son. They have interfered with Jakob (John Cena) who is the brother of Dom and an assassin expert. Jakob has some personal problems against Dominic who is taking revenge.
‘Justice is coming’ is the tagline which reveals some clue into the plot. It may also refer to different enemies and revenge angles. The movie is seen in dealing with the murder case of Han. Apart from this, the other tagline ‘Not all blood is family’, is also suggesting some fights between Dominic and his brother.
