Mission Impossible 7: Everything you should know about the penultimate film of the legendary series!

Post date:

The Mission Impossible series is one of Hollywood’s most famous films. It follows Tom Cruise as Ethan Hunt, who takes down malicious organizations across the world that threaten security. Mission Impossible 7 will be the penultimate film of the series, and Christopher McQuarrie will direct it, and of course, Tom Cruise will return as Ethan Hunt.

Since it will be the second-last movie, the stakes have to be high. This means Ethan Hunt will undoubtedly be after something big and outstanding. There have been speculations that this will be something related to space and will require such scenes as well.

Many believe this may even be a two-movie plotline since they will mark the ending of the franchise and will be shot together. However, we do not know of any further information since filming has not yet begun.

Tom Cruise will, of course, return as Ethan Hunt, accompanied by Rebecca Ferguson and Simon Pegg. We can also expect Vanessa Kirby and Henry Czerny to reprise their former roles. Other actors like Hayley Atwell, Pom Klementieff, Shea Whigham, and Nicholas Hoult are also part of the new casting, although we do not know what their exact roles are. There are big chances that they will appear in both movies that are left in the series.

Release dates

Tom Cruise did announce that the seventh movie will be out by the summer of 2021 and the eighth movie by the summer of 2022. However, the situation has changed with the COVID-19 crisis, which has suspended filming. This will hinder the production process and lead to an alteration of the release date.

No matter what, we know that the final films of the Mission Impossible series will be action-packed and legendary and won’t fail to entertain us.
