Post the latest taste of Stranger Things season 3 only a few months back, the excitement of the fourth installment has already begun. Despite a significant amount of time gap, the show hasn’t left the heart and mind of their riled up fans who haven’t stopped speculating what might unfold in the fourth season that will be streaming on Netflix.

Created by the Duffer Brothers, Stranger Things is an American science fiction drama horror series that premiered on Netflix on July 15, 2016. The story revolves around the 1980s in the fictional town of Hawkins, Indiana.

The story begins with the investigation into the disappearance of a young boy amid supernatural events occurring around the town, including the appearance of a girl with psychokinetic abilities. Ever since then, the fanbase is waiting for the fourth installment to answer the questions that birthed in the season 3 finale.

First things first, bringing you the happy news! Yes, as per Netflix’s announcement in September 2019, the show is renewed for a fourth season as well. Later, on Valentine’s Day, the commencement of the production was officially announced.

The release of the teaser has indeed got the audience all pumped up to see how the story extends and grows with plot continued from season 3.  However, owing to the coronavirus outbreak, the productions have been delayed. Owing to irregular release of the previous seasons with no announcement as such, it is difficult to determine the exact date of publication.

Although many characters left to post the end of season 3, we can expect the return of  Winona Ryder (Joyce Byers), Finn Wolfhard (Mike Wheeler), Millie Bobby Brown (Eleven), Gaten Matarazzo (Dustin Henderson), Caleb McLaughlin (Lucas Sinclair), Natalia Dyer (Nancy Wheeler), Noah Schnapp (Will Byers), Sadie Sink (Max Mayfield), Maya Hawke (Robin) and Charlie Heaton (Jonathan Byers). The trailer, however, reveals that the chief of police Hopper is still alive though not so well, so we can expect a plot twist there and return of Hopper in season 4.

From what Chief Hopper is doing now to how exactly the Russians detained a Demogorgon, Stranger Things 3 left a lot of questions unanswered in which the viewers and the humungous fanbase are more than eager to wait and watch patiently.
