Whenever Apple is about to announce a new product, rumors always start to generate way earlier just to find minute details of what the outcome will be.
One such rumor doing rounds is of Apple Airpod X, which is assumed to be the company’s first-ever over-ear headphones after the massive success of the company’s original Bluetooth earphones, Airpods.
The source of this rumor is the United State’s retailer Target. Seemingly, Target revealed the price of a new pair of earphones assumed to be Apple’s, Airpods X though there is no confirmation of this fact either by Apple or any of their PR, though rumors are strong.
Here’s what we know about it.
If the rumors are to be believed, Apple is set to release its over-the-year headphones in mid-2020 nearer to the first half of the year. This date has also been predicted by Ming-Chi Kuo, the famous release analyst.
Apart from it, The AirPods Pro Lite, the cost-friendly version of Airpods Pro and Beats Powerbeats 4 one from Apple’s subsidiary, are also set for launch this year.
As Per Target leak, the Airpod’s will be priced at a whopping 399$, which converts roughly to about 29,000 rs in terms of Indian currency. As expected, Apple is again set to target the cream of customers for these headphones.
The pricing is also set way above its natural competitors in the same segment, such as Sony and Sennheiser and Bose.
WHATS THE X FACTOR?
Though not much is revealed at this time, some things are certain.
The product will be an upgrade to the previous Airpods, given its pricing. The product will be standalone and will not be related to Beat’s headphones.
We can expect a few color variants this time. The previous versions are only releasing in white.
