Accenture agrees to acquire clarity insights, boosting artificial intelligence impact for clients in north america

Accenture a multinational professional services company, one of Fortune Global 500 companies acquired Clarity Insight, a data analytics consultancy US-based firm with headquarter in Chicago for boosting its deep data science, artificial intelligence (AI), and machine learning (ML) services in North America. The terms of the deal were not disclosed.

“They have a strong client base doing the work we do,” says John Matchette, an Accenture managing director who oversees the company’s applied intelligence practice in North America.

This acquisition will add 350 employees in Accenture, which already has nearly 20000 employees for this section, and further, this acquisition will add nearly 600 jobs in nearly three years in Chicago, where Accenture has already 6000 employees. This will also add a strong portfolio of accelerators, which can help organizations more quickly realize value from their data to Accenture Artificial intelligence business.   This is also not the first acquisition of Accenture this year. It has already acquired 33 companies and invested nearly US$1.2 billion globally.
