Accenture Buys Clarity for AI, Machine Learning Expertise

Basically, Accenture is an Irish multinational professional services company. The company basically provides services in digital, strategy, consulting, technology as well as operations services. This company is incorporated in Dublin, Ireland, since the first September of 2009. It is a Fortune Global 500 company. This company has more than 492000 employees. The company, according to reports, it’s net revenue is $44.2 billion in 2019. The company is serving more than 200 cities in 120 countries.

Services of AI and machine learning –

Accenture will get acquisition clarity insight from a Chicago based company that basically provides services of AI and machine learning to the companies, especially in the healthcare, financial services, and also insurance industries. Accenture is a growing company with a data science workforce, and it also adds a total of 350 employees, specifically professional services giant.  These two companies signed an agreement on the 13th of December. Actually, they did not disclose any financial terms and conditions related to the deal.

Accenture has applied Intelligence business employs, which includes more than 20,000 people; it had around 6,000 data scientists, data engineers, and AI professionals all over the world. The company has grown the business with recent acquisitions. This includes data intelligence and AI services companies. According to the reports, In 2019, Accenture spent a total of nearly $1.2 billion on 33 acquisitions.

According to Dr. Kaveh Safavi, he is the senior managing director for Accenture’s global health care business; he said: “Clarity has been working in healthcare and life sciences for some time.” He continues, ” when the opportunity presented itself to acquire them, we took advantage of it.” These were his exact words.

Also, Neil Huse, the president and also the CEO of clarity insight, he said that the company was drawn to Accenture for their similar approach for how they work with clients. He also said that ” fully understanding clients’ business goals and objectives is the first step to a successful AI deployment.”
