The former General Hospital star ends her relationship with the actor in 2003, with the couple sharing son Kassius.
Following Brian’s recent split, Venessa backed actress Megan in a supportive message on Instagram.
According to the source, she wrote:
“Megan finally living her life for herself is in itself a gift to her children.”
Megan and Brian tied the knot in 2004, before announcing their split in May 2020.
The former pair share the kids Noah Shannon Green, seven, Bodhi Ransom Green, six, and Journey River Green, four.
Megan since moved on with rapper Machine Gun Kelly, 30.
Last month, Brian opens up about their ‘amazing 15-year relationship’ that brought them ‘three beautiful kids.’
He said “we shared a lot and we went through a lot together.
” Currently, the paths are different and she is on her way doing what she feels she needs to be doing to be happy and I’m on my way doing what I feel I need to do to be happy and it’s not for an absence of love for the kids or absence of being responsible, it’s significant to take care of yourself.”
While Brian and Vanessa called it quits shortly after their son’s birth in 2003.
Previously, the actress claimed Brian and Megan attempt to get full custody of Kassuis in 2006.
In 2018, she wrote on Instagram:
“Twelve years ago I was given out legal papers and then spent 8 years+ defending myself and my son in custody court in response to his father and his stepmother attempt to get full custody (that means I would see my son four days a month) and then asking me to pay the child support.
