Former HBO chief executive officer Richard Plepler had signed an agreement that has five years of the deal. Cupertino based technology that is Apple Inc. they deal with it. The deal is to create original content for its subscription video on demand. In this deal and also as a part of this deal, Richard Plepler’s new company that is Eden production. It will create and develop exclusive interesting television series, documentaries as well as featured fils for Apple TV+. This news came and reported in The New York Times on Thursday.
After contributing almost 28 years of his life, Plepler left HBO because he found that his vision for this network is different from the new HBO’s parent company that is AT&T. He left this company last year in February.
When the press asks him why he left this, he said to this statement that “he doesn’t want to run anything again.” Richard Plepler also told The Times -“All I want to do, and I mean this at the bottom of my heart, is run my own little PT boat. If I am successful at it as I hope I can be over the coming years, it will be more than enough work for me.”It matters to many that Apple wants those who can produce original content as well as his a partnership with the existing media companies and will provide TV+ service that is actually launched in November of 2019.
