Samsung announces world’s first 5G tablet.

Are you ready? The wait is over. Finally, 5G is going to hit the market. Samsung has announced it’s going to launch the world’s first 5G tablet in 2020!

Samsung is going to launch 5G connectivity through its latest generation of Samsung’s Galaxy series tablet. It will be launched through the Galaxy Tab S6 during the first quarter of 2020. However, it is only for the South Korea market, and others have to wait a little more. There is no word from Samsung when the device will enter the other markets.

The new tablet to almost a twin to Galaxy Tab S6 in terms of specs and functionality and with only the difference of additional 5G connectivity.

The 5G connectivity up-gradation in the devices will improve the live streaming, pre-recording video streams, video conferencing, and quality of gaming with its ultra-fast speed and overall power and performance. 5G-supported devices are only made up about 1 percent of global smartphone sales, according to Counterpoint Research. But anyway, the amount is projected to grow by 1,687 percent in 2020.

There is expected to be major growth in this sector, and other non-smartphone products will also see a growth in 5G integration. Though Samsung is the first to launch the 5G connectivity devices, other companies are surely on their way to give tough competition to Samsung in the future.

With the flagship of Samsung tablet, Galaxy S6 5G is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor and comes with a top-end configuration of 6GB or 8 GB RAM and 128 GB or 256 GB of storage. The tablet comes in a 10.5 inches super AMOLED screen with a 2560×1600 resolution that supports HDR10+. Samsung has made no announcement regarding the price. However, the price of S6 is expected considerably more than OG S6 (£620).
